Песни - Mary's in India Дидо и Skater Boy Аврил Лавинь.

Мне этот прием понравился и отложился в памяти, когда услышал песню Аврил несколько лет назад, а сейчас внезапно осознал, что он же лежит в основе и песни Дидо.

Вот эти песни:

Слова песен под катом:

Dido - Mary's in India

Danny is lonely
Mary's in India now
She said she'd call but that was three weeks ago
She left all her things well, her books and her letters from him
But as the sun rises on Mary sets on him
And just dance, and just drink
And just see the things I probably never get the chance to see
Danny's not eating, he's drinking and sleeping
I saw him last night at party, he's definitely thin
He says he's happy, look pretty good
But I think
That as the sun rises on Mary sets on him
And just dance, and just drink
And just see the things I probably never get the chance to say
Danny came over last night and I cooked for him
He talked about you Mary and how much we loved you still
He told me he's packed up your books and your letters and things
But as the sun sets on Mary, it's rising on him
And we danced, and we drank
And I've seen something you probably never got the chance to see
Don't worry, Mary
Cause I'm taking care of Danny
And he's taking care of me

Avril Lavigne - Skater Boy

he was a boy she was a girl
can i make it anymore obvious!

He was a punk, she did ballet
What more can I say?

He wanted her, she'd never tell
secretly she wanted him as well

But all of her friends, stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his baggy clothes...

He was a skater boy
She said "see ya later boy"
He wasn't good enough for her
She had a pretty face
But her head was up in space
She needed to come back down to earth

Five years from now, she sits at home
Feeding the baby, she's all alone

She turns on T.V., guess who she sees
Skater boy rocking on MTV

She calls up her friends, they already know
And they've all got tickets to see his show

she tags along, and stands in the crowd
Looks up at the man that she turned down

He was a skater boy
She said "see ya later boy"
He wasn't good enough for her
Now he's a superstar
Slammin on his guitar
Does your pretty face see what he's worth?
He was a skater boy
She said "see ya later boy"
He wasn't good enough for her
Now he's a superstar
Slammin on his guitar
Did your pretty face see what he's worth?(hold out)

Sorry girl, but you missed out
Well tough luck that boy's mine now

We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends

Too bad that you couldn't see
See the man that boy could be

There is more than meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside

He's just a boy and I'm just a girl
Can I make it anymore obvious?

We are in love, haven`t you heard
How we rock each others world!

I'm with the skater boy
I said "see ya later boy"
I'll be backstage after the show
I'll be at the studio
Singing the song we wrote
About a girl he used to know.

I'm with the skater boy
I said "see ya later boy"
I'll be backstage after the show
I'll be at the studio
Singing the song we wrote
About the girl he used to know.
